You were simply the best mom, ever

I had the pleasure of meeting your mother on a few occasions over the last 3 years. What I remember is her warm smile. But what really struck me each time is how you, Anne, treated her with such love, affection and dignity right up to the end. I saw how your face softened when you looked at your mother. How you held her hand so gently as you watched your kids perform at grandparents day a couple of years ago. How you got dressed up to the nines for the lovely lunch you held for her on her 90th birthday last month. And how happy she looked surrounded by her family. How you always ALWAYS spoke of her with such love and concern. I didn't know her well, but from knowing you I can tell she was wonderful lady.

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
